The East Asia Summit (EAS) is a Pan-Asia forum of 16 countries in East Asia, with ASEAN in a leadership position.
The EAS is not established in a forum setting.
The EAS meets annually. The last summit was held in Singapore on November 21, 2007.
Goals, Targets, Objectives:
EAS Free Trade Agreement/East Asian Economic Partnership Agreement (also known as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership for East Asia, or CEPEA).
